Phishing emails try to make you act before you think. Common themes include expired hosting, locked accounts, fake invoices, delivery problems, and urgent password resets.
Check the sender address carefully, but do not trust it completely. Display names are easy to fake, and a familiar logo does not prove the message is legitimate.
Hover over links before clicking on desktop, or long-press carefully on mobile when safe to preview. If the destination is not the official domain you expected, do not continue.
When an email claims there is a problem, open the service in your browser directly instead of using the email link. This one habit prevents many account theft attempts.
